2017 Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster Laps the Nurburgring Racetrack
Mercedes plan to expand their Mercedes-AMG sports car range once again with the new AMG-GT Roadster, due to hit showrooms next year; spy photographers spotted it lapping the Nurburgring racetrack this month ahead of the reveal, sporting a cloth roof.

Chairman of the Mercedes-AMG division, Tobias Moers, has promised that the new model will “absolutely be a proper sports car” and could be revealed in full for the first time this year. Structural losses of the roof have been accounted for and the sharpness of the AMG-GT drive has been maintained, much to our delight. We are itching to get behind the wheel of this new cabriolet…

New Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante Drops the Top
The 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is underway and Aston Martin has floored attendees of the show with their reveal of the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante.

The new model has been created following “overwhelming” demand and customer interest in a drop top and will be limited to only 99 examples; the price is believed to be set at upwards of £500,000 and will use the same V12 as the hardtop, predicted to speed from 0-60 MPH in just 3.8 seconds. Exciting developments have also been applied to the styling of the new Vanquish Zagato Volante, particularly in comparison to the old model, including a new grille, LED running lights and a redesigned rear end. We can only imagine the road presence the car will have!

Bugatti Galibier Tipped to be Bugatti’s Next Model
First shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, Bugatti seem poised to bring the Galibier concept car to life in the form of a luxury saloon in the foreseeable future; the brand new car is one of four models being proposed to Bugatti boss Wolfgang Dürheimer. Although the concept is still within its early days, the new model is rumoured to be based on a modified version of the Porsche-developed MSB platform. Commenting on the Galibier, he said: “My heart continues to beat for this car, because we had some revolutionary approaches that no one to date has yet dared to place into production.”

Audi A9 e-tron Production Announced
Audi has revealed plans to produce a four-wheel-drive electric saloon to rival the Tesla Model S; the new car is expected to be named the A9 e-tron and will be blessed with the brand’s latest technology within the cabin. The A9 e-tron will have a range of 311 miles between each recharge and will have the latest autonomous driving technology, at the delight of Audi lovers country-wide.

Within the e-tron Quattro concept, three electric motors work to produce a combined output of 429 BHP – now, that is a rather impressive figure! Perhaps the Signature Car Hire fleet will need to extend the electric choices with this beauty…
