Aston Martin Teases and Hints the DB11 will be Blessed with a Powerful V12 Turbo

aston-martin-db11The kind team at Aston Martin has bestowed upon us a thirty-second teaser treat video, hinting that the new Aston Martin DB11 sports car will boast an all-new 5.2-litre twin turbo V12 engine.

aston-martin-db11-1The film shows the brand new monster of an engine starting up, and along with that familiar roar, ‘V12’, ‘5.2’ and ‘twin turbo’ are all etched in the top; with the DB11 due to be revealed at this year’s Motor Show in Geneva, it has been assumed that this will be the new marque the engine will belong to. What a luxury car hire that will be…

The brand new turbo packs a punch – the V12 engine is rumoured to be the most powerful Aston Martin have ever produced, promising a 0-62 MPH speed of fewer than 4 seconds, and an eye-boggling excess of 600 BHP.

Aston Martin has confirmed the new DB11 will be sure to do away with a few familiar features we have grown used to on the old favourites, such as the Aston Martin DB9, one of which can be experienced right here at Signature Car Hire. We are also proud to provide self-drive luxury hire in the Aston Martin Virage Volante, the Aston Martin Vanquish Coupe, and the very special Aston Martin V8 Roadster N420 Limited Edition.  In fact, expect huge changes to both the front and rear of the Aston Martin exterior, as well as a completely revised interior; Aston Martin CEO has already confirmed that the DB11 will experience a complete overhaul, telling us, “we have the issue with some people saying the cars all look alike – that’s solved in the next generation of cars.”

I spy with my Aston Martin eye…
Spy images of the Aston Martin DB11 prototype show that while the front end of the DB11 retains the signature Aston grille, but now flaunts a pointier nose shape and sharper headlamps. From the side, the DB11 looks to be sporting a longer bonnet, with a jutting lip spoiler and a far steeper windscreen, along with distinctive lines through its wings. Twin exhausts add the cherry on the top of this beautifully designed marque.

We cannot wait to get our heads under the bonnet of the new Aston Martin DB11 later this year, and bring our Bond dreams to life (he knew how to rock that DB9, didn’t he?) In the meantime, we will occupy ourselves with the exciting car hire fleet we have parked in our showroom, waiting to hit the roads.

Make sure you pay us a visit and arrange your self-drive experience without delay; we are waiting for you to make your marque.
