Gotham City’s newest number plate appears to be registered to a certain Mr. Wayne, Bruce Wayne. As Top Gear relay, ‘the thoroughly delectable Lamborghini Aventador is making its big screen debut in next year’s hugely mouth-watering Batman flick, The Dark Knight Rises’.
For those of us who are less than aficionados of the Batman genre over the last few episodes, Top Gear kindly précis the career of the Lamborghini throughout the last few years. If you can remember, driving a Murcielago Spyder in 2005’s ‘Batman Begins’ was the first date of Bruce Wayne with the Italian legend. He then moved on to a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in The Dark Knight. Given that the Murcielago has been superseded, it is no surprise that Batman has graduated to the Aventador. Top Gear endorses this as ‘the correct decision, because the V12-engined Lamborghini is rather smashing’.
