Bentley are Building Not One, but Two Sports Cars!

bentleyChristmas has come early for Bentley fans, as the august car manufacturer has confirmed that they are building two separate sports cars, both of which we’ll see next year. The first car is a sports version of their SUV, the Bentley Bentayga. Given that the standard version already has a top speed of 187MPH, a ‘sports’ version should be quite spectacular! It will, reportedly, lose some of its off-road capabilities to power this performance, but we still can’t wait to see what emerges from their Crewe factory.

The second car will be very exciting to the many people who fell in love with the Bentley EXP 10 Speed Six concept when it was shown earlier this year. Thanks to your positive feedback, Bentley have decided to make this car a reality, and according to the marque it will be “our British interpretation of a pinnacle luxury, high performance two-seater sports car. A bold statement, and one which reflects Bentley’s progressive ideology in the use of ultra-modern automotive design, highly skilled handcrafting, the finest materials and advanced performance technology.”

The car will have muscular bodywork, inspired by aircraft designs, and its flowing lines are accented by striking copper elements. If photographs of the concept are anything to go by, it will be completely gorgeous. Inside, the interior will be defined by a continuous line that runs around the cabin and divides the console into two symmetrical wings. Although it’s a performance-orientated car, the interior will be predictably luxurious, with quilted sports seats, two-metal 3D texturing and an intuitive 12 inch touchscreen.

This car is rumoured to be making an appearance at Geneva, and we’ll bring you all the latest news on both this and the sports version of the Bentayga as it happens.
