Every year, Bentley stage one of the world’s most fabulous driving events: Power on Ice. Taking place in February each year, the event provides participants the chance to spend four days pushing Bentley cars to their limits in one of the world’s most challenging driving environments. Next year will include something extra special: the dazzling 4×4 Bentley Bentayga, which will take to the ice for the very first time.
Power on Ice is staged on the frozen lakes of Finland, just outside the Arctic Circle. A vast track is created solely for Bentley, and attendees are given a huge range of the marque’s models to play with. The chance to play with the new Bentley Bentayga, which has unprecedented performance for an SUV, will be the icing on the cake for everyone who visits Power on Ice next year. The chance to explore the Bentayga’s extraordinary capabilities in a truly testing environment is truly tempting for any Bentley fan, and should be an absolutely magnificent experience.
The attendees won’t be taking to the ice unsupervised: they will be under the tuition of the vastly experienced Bentley Ice Driving Team, led by four-time World Rally Champion and two-time ice-speed record holder, Juha Kankkunen – who personally designs each of the ten ice tracks. As well as the Bentayga, they’ll get the chance to drive the Continental GT3-R and the Flying Spur amongst others – all of which come with very useful features such as all-wheel-drive and heated seats!
As well as an unparalleled driving experience, attendees will enjoy the luxurious surroundings of the Chalet Ruka Peak, which offers evening meals of contemporary Finish cuisine, a traditional smoke sauna and many other regional comforts.
