Never let it be said that Aston Martin don’t have a sense of humour. To celebrate their new factory at St Athan in Wales, which will start production in 2019, the marque has released a special – and we think utterly fantastic – video.

In the seven minute clip, two Aston Martin racing drivers and one chief engineer sneak into the new premises to play with the £65 million worth of cars they find conveniently unattended. By play, incidentally, we mean go as fast as possible and do more donuts than a Krispy Kreme concession.

The video is, unsurprisingly, huge fun to watch, not to mention a chance to see the Aston Martin range in all its glory. Featuring everything from the tiny Cygnet to the One-77 and the Aston Martin Vulcan, the film reminds us of just how many stunning cars the marque has produced in its 104 years of history.

Oh, and in case that’s not impressive enough, the company also roped in its CEO, Andy Palmer, and three international Welsh Rugby players to star in the video!

Aston took over the St Athan facility from the MOD earlier this year and are converting it into their second UK plant. Creating more than 750 jobs, the site will be responsible for production of the Aston Martin SUV: the DBX.
