Aston Martin have just announced their much admired DB11 has been voted “Most Beautiful Car 2017” winning the esteemed and much sought after Golden Steering Wheel award from Axel at the awards ceremony held at their headquarters in Berlin.
Voted for by an esteemed panel of designers, racers, engineers, celebrities and journalists from across Europe, the DB11 was chosen from an array of 20 vehicles that entered the market during 2017.
Marion Horn (Editor in Chief BILD am Sonntag) and Tom Drechsler (Editor in Chief AUTO BILD) presented the award to Aston Martin President and CEO, Dr. Andy Palmer who commented at the end of the ceremony: “We aspire to make the most beautiful cars in the world and are incredibly proud of the Aston Martin DB11, a car that spearheads our Second Century plan. Exceptional design runs through the bloodline of the DB models and every part of the DB11 is crafted to create the most beautiful DB to date. To receive the award for “Most Beautiful Car” is testament to the skill and dedication of the designers and employees of Aston Martin who work tirelessly to combine exceptional design with the latest technology.”
