Taking its cue from the finest design details like the flash of colour on a suit lining, or the vibrant stitching on a leather saddle this spectacular car features a Mulliner interior with a rich palette of Designer’s Choice colour splits and materials including carbon-fibre enriched with Titanium which is a first in the automotive industry.
There will only be 100 of this new limited edition model which comes in five inspiring interior and exterior accent colour splits including Mandarin, Pillar Box Red, White, Kingfisher and Azure Purple to deliver a unique and exclusive design take on Bentley’s luxury saloon, organised by Mulliner; Bentley’s personal commissioning division. The series is available across the four-car Flying Spur ranges including the V8, W12, V8 S and W12 S.
Conceived for the Bentley driver seeking a more extreme, bespoke interpretation of the performance-oriented sedan, the new Flying Spur Design Series by Mulliner is defined externally by bright-coloured fine lines contrasted with blackened brightware (W12 S only), to augment the dynamic, performance-oriented nature of the Flying Spur. Inside drivers can revel in the fine leather detailing picked out in bold colours, new materials and technical precision.
Other aspects to review on the Flying Spur Design Series include a bold, front-bumper design (V8 S and W12 S models only), a lower fine line which are highlighted with a striking colour accent. LED Welcome Lamps reflect the word ‘Mulliner’ on the ground for added impact.
Look out for dramatic design additions of black brightware around the headlamps and grille, 21” six twin-spoke Directional Sports Wheels painted in Gloss Black which adds to the powerful, aggressive appearance of this model befitting the powerful W12 S engine.
Drivers won’t be disappointed by the inside of the Flying Spur Design Series. Mulliner have pulled out all the stops to produce a handcrafted, unique and luxurious environment in which to drive.
The perforated hide on the leather seats reveals a vibrant and contrasting colour below, which reflects the striking colour accents added to the limited-edition Flying Spur.
There is a new, tailor made contrasting colour split on the inside of the top roll and waist rail tops, which creates a palette of three different hide colours inside the luxury saloon. This contrasts beautifully against the centre console which is finished in a striking Piano Black.
To remain at the forefront of the automotive industry Mulliner has also demonstrated Bentleys technical precision and sporting prowess by using Titanium-enriched carbon fibre on the waist rails and fascia panel which has only ever been used in the aviation industry. As you step into this Bentley beauty you also note the treadplates which are finished in one of the five accent colours and feature a ‘Mulliner’ illumination.
