Ferrari F40 Gathering At Silverstone Circuit For World Record

Ferrari aren’t new to setting records, after all, they won the British Grand Prix more than 15 times which is more than any other team. In 2007, 385 Ferrari’s gathered on Silverstone to set a record for the most Ferrari’s in one place. However, they’re ready to beat that record and increase it to 600 cars at Silverstone Classic.

The Ferrari F40 had a 3.0 litre twin turbo V8 that produced 470 horsepower to its rear wheels in an extremely light chassis. Even the paint was extremely thin; you could actually see the Carbon fibre weave through the paint. It was one of the first cars to break the 0-60 4 Second barrier and was the first legal car to run past 200MPH barrier.

The F40 was built to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th Anniversary and was the last car that the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari approved before his death. Only 1,315 F40’s were built making it extremely rare.

Fear not though, you can get a taste of what Ferrari’s are like by hiring one from us. We offer a select range of Ferrari’s including the Ferrari F1 430 Spider, Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe or our Ferrari 458 Italia Spider which will be coming soon!
