Regular customers and Signature window shoppers will have noticed that we’re rather fond of Lamborghinis, largely because our Signature Experience Centre is absolutely stuffed with exquisite, low-slung cars adorned with the badge of the raging bull. The reason for this is twofold: one, the marque makes beautiful, brilliant cars that our clients love; and two, Signature’s Founder & CEO Dee is obsessed by them!
To celebrate our longstanding partnership with, and love of, Lamborghini, we’ve finally done the inevitable and purchased a sparkling new Lambo in Signature’s brand colour.
This gorgeous vehicle is none other than a Lamborghini Hurácan Spyder, the convertible version of one of the decade’s most iconic cars. Replacing the equally iconic Lamborghini Gallardo, the Hurácan represented the next evolution in Lamborghini engineering and took high speed fighter planes as inspiration for both its design and performance.
Not content with stunning the world with this car in 2014, Lamborghini then released the Spyder. Despite chopping off the roof to make this stunning convertible, the marque ensured that the Hurácan lost none of its power. This V10 beast can zoom from 0-62 MPH in just 3.4 seconds, and power up to a top speed of 201 MPH. You won’t be able to close the roof at that speed – that’s restricted to 31 MPH and under – but it does prove just how much potential lies underneath that sexy bonnet.
The car is characterised by beautifully strong lines, both when the fabric roof is lowered and raised, and the car is made of a combination of aluminium and carbon fibre that makes it exceptionally light and rigid.
Inside, the cabin delivers a mixture of sports style and comfort. Settle into the leather sports seats and you’ll find a full infotainment system alongside all the switches and dials you need for a high performance drive.
