On 21st October the Aston Martin DB10, the car featured in the Bond film, took pride of place outside London’s Lancaster House, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were meeting Chinese President Mr Xi Jinping. They were there for a creative summit hosted by the government’s UK Trade & Investment department (UKTI) as part of the President’s three-day State visit to Great Britain. The summit was tied of the GREAT Britain campaign, which showcases the best of what the UK has to offer to inspire the world and encourage people to visit, do business, invest and study in the UK.
Aston Martin were there to demonstrate the potential of the UK’s car manufacturing industry, and what better way to do this than through the DB10, the first car to made exclusively for the world’s favourite spy?
Just a week later this car had another big night out, when it took its place on the red carpet for the charity premiere of Spectre. Hosted at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the premiere saw the car once again united with its Royal fans the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Prince Harry.

As Aston Martin CEO, Dr Andy Palmer, commentated: “It was a pure delight to see the DB10 put to such spectacular use on the big screen. The ongoing love affair between Bond and Aston Martin has endured for more than half a century and I’m pleased to see the DB10 put through its paces in Spectre.”
