The heralded Gallardo is no longer being produced but the team at Sant’Agata is hard at work by trying to come up with a new successor to the Gallardo. For now, people think that it will début between this year or next year. The code name that the automotive world has been given for this car is the Cabrera.
It will be a supercar with a V10 powerhouse and judging from the new spy images, it looks like it is going to be a car that will keep the toughest critics satisfied. The spy images echo some similarities to the Gallardo; this model will be more lightweight than predecessors. This model will be made from carbon fibre as well.
The design philosophy of the new model takes its cues from the Gallardo as well as the Aventador and a touch of the Sesto Elemento at the rear.
