Raz, as he’s more commonly known, is no stranger to the limelight. He is the restaurant entrepreneur who brought us the Curry Lounge, the award-winning Indian restaurant in Nottingham. Since appearing alongside Gordon Ramsay in Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, Raz has gone on to even greater things. Cooking for famous personalities, as well as supplying personal chef services in your own home for that glamorous dinner party, are just a few of the things he does so well.
Recently Raz was requested ‘by star appointment’ to look after the crew and actors of a brand new Bollywood blockbuster being filmed in Britain. For almost a month, Raz looked after these international guests, making them feel welcome and pampered with his authentic cooking. The film, Teri Meri Kahani, is a romance featuring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
Whilst rubbing shoulders with the entire cast, as well as catering for all their culinary needs, Raz was thrilled to meet the female lead, Priyanka Chopra. This Indian beauty may be better known to us outside the Bollywood circuit as Miss India and Miss World 2000. As well as his great taste in food, we must say he has impeccable taste in cars too! A further highlight of the experience was our red Ferrari 458 pictured here with Raz and Priyanka Chopra. What a collection of stunning award-winners!
