Porsche Relays the Magic of Four Cylinders to its Engine

Why four cylinder engines are back on Porsche’s radar
If Porsche sees symbolism in the number four, it comes from the flat-four engine that is going to be a key feature of the Cayman and the Boxster. The 968 was the last Porsche models that have a four cylinder engine. However, Porsche is not rusty in creating four cylinder cores. It could be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.

What the details state about this new engine
The details of the engine include that it is all-aluminium which will help it to remain strong and fierce during car journeys. The four cylinder engine will have a capacity of 2.5 litres with direct fuel injection features. It will also include single-turbo capacity. With the ability to reach 350 horsepower and a thrilling 360 round of torque, the engine is definitely going to be something to be experienced. The engine will be working with the seven-speed PDK transmission. PDK stands for Porsche Doppelkupplung which is the brand’s unique transmission system.
