The Bentley Continental GT is a big fan of getting work done. Since the second generation Continental went onto the market in 2011, it’s received both a refresh last year and a more holistic facelift for 2015. But have the changes been worth it? In our view, yes.

Both the V8 and W12 versions of the Continental have received the makeover. The W12 version still contains the 6 litre twin turbo engine, but power has been increased to 590PS (from 575) and torque boosted to 720NM. Even fuel economy has been improved by five per cent.
Exterior changes are the most noticeable. A more assertive front end is accentuated by a smaller radiator grille and new front bumper. The front wings are now more pronounced, with the side vents now similar to those on the Mulsanne, and highlighted with a ‘Flying B’ badge that emphasises the car’s power lines.
The rear bootlid has also been redesigned, and new 20- and 21- inch wheels are now available. Chrome badging, similar to that of the GT Speed, now completes each car.
Inside, the driver benefits from a sportier set up, with an improved steering wheel and larger gear-shift paddles that is more user-friendly. On-board wi-fi is also now available, for those who want to work and play rather than drive!
