As usual, Signature Car Hire is the first to add a brand new model to their self-drive hire fleet. The latest offering is the brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S in white with red Carerra leather interior.
This stunning model, pictured here at the London based Experience Centre with proud owner Dee Bhatia, is available to hire on a self-drive basis in the UK. Dee said, “I am really excited about this car. My very first sports car was a Porsche 911, so it brings back lots of happy memories for me. I always push to be the first to get a new model in the prestige car hire business, so it is a real thrill to have done it once again. At the heart of this new Turbo is the 3.8 Litre twin-turbo engines, which comes with VTG (that’s variable turbine geometry!). This model also features rear-axle steering which adapts to different driving situations making it agile at low speeds and more stable at high speeds. This car is unmistakably a Porsche. The wings are higher and designed to look sportier. The wheelbase is longer, by 100mm, which aids stability and stretches the roof line. Alloys are also enhanced and now come in at 20 inches, one inch larger than its predecessors and comes with a striking two tone finish. A feature to look out for on this new 911 Turbo S is the nose panel which has additional air blades and SportDesign exterior mirrors with V-shaped base.
In keeping with Porsche’s design evolution, the interior has also had a makeover. Five round instruments with the rev counter takes central stage in the dash and the instrument cluster with high-resolution 4.6-inch colour screen which provides the driver with all of the information from the on-board computer or audio system. Sportiness and comfort are combined perfectly in the fully electric Sports seats in this new 911 Turbo.
