The bubbling Bora concept of Maserati is brilliant

In the days when Maserati ownership changed hands a few times too much, the Bora concept car was an idea borne out of this tumultuous period. However, despite the rocky history of why the car was created, it is one of the most eye-catching automotive concepts that has ever been created. Maserati have proven they have created some jewels in their back catalogue.

The initial idea of the Bora started in 1968 and production commenced in the early 1970s. The Bora was also the first car from the brand that had a mid-engine. This was way ahead of its time considering when it was built. As you can see from these glossy new images, these renderings are not official from Maserati but they are what car designer Alex Imnadze imagined how the Bora would look today. Taking cues from its 1970 heritage, the renderings are sleek and smooth with a touch of retro-futurism that has made Maserati famous.
