We will see the Vantage GT3 this March

geneva-aston-martin-gt3Thanks to the eagle eyes of the world’s car press, we’ve known that Aston Martin have been developing the Vantage GT3 for some time.

The marque has, however, finally issued an official confirmation of the car’s existence, accompanied by a sexy teaser trailer and the promise that we’ll see the whole thing at Geneva in March this year.

The GT3 is intended to be even more powerful than the Vantage V12 S and, despite the impressions that giant rear spoiler might give, will be entirely street legal.

No official details have been released, but the motoring press are speculating that the Vantage’s 6 litre V12 might be tuned to produce around 600BHP, the car may have an updated manual gearbox and a spartan, weight saving interior. Wider tyres, accompanied by flared front and rear wheel arches, are also expected.

We can’t wait to see full details when they’re revealed next month, and we’ll be posting them here as soon as we can!
