Will we see the Convertible Huracan Unveiled Next Month?

Will they… Won’t they… The saga of the convertible Huracan could easily be likened to a Hollywood romance – everyone knows it will work out in the end, but no-one has any idea of quite how they’ll get there.

What are we talking about? The debut of the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder – the convertible version of Lamborghini‘s latest beast – has long been rumoured to happen next year. Specifically, at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, taking place next March. Now, however, Dutch newspaper de Telegraaf is reporting that we may see it unveiled a lot sooner – at the Frankfurt show this year, to be precise.

The thing about rumours is that a lot of them turn out to be untrue, so we’re not raising our hopes just yet. If it did debut this month, however, it would certainly steal the spotlight from some of the other marques, whose planned launches at the show are already more widely known.

If you need a way to while away the weeks – or months – before the Spyder’s launch, hire one of our three beautiful standard Huracans today. You’ll get all the fun of this truly spectacular car, plus a roof to protect you from the rainy English ‘summer’!
