A feast of Ferraris at Maranello Museum

A day trip to a museum turns out to be a motor-filled delight

Museums are not just the homes for priceless art. They are also venues for stunning supercars. For car enthusiasts, art is the curve of the exterior of a car and the performance that a supercar can achieve. This is why Ferrari Museum in Maranello has just opened a new exhibit, which culminates with the release of the LaFerrari at the Geneva Motor Show.

The marque is also exhibiting LaFerrari at the museum; visitors get to see the glossy red exterior of the car up close in addition to marvelling at the 950 horsepower of the car. The name of the exhibit is ‘Ferrari Supercar: Technoloy. Design. Myth’. Alongside LaFerrari, there are appearances from the F50, the Enzo, 288 GTO and the 250 GTO. Supercharged Ferrari supercars that are key attractions of the exhibit include the FXX which is based on the Enzo and the 599XX Evo.

The photos really say it all: Ferrari weaves technology, design and myth into every single supercar that it produces.
