AMG Teases Up-Coming Models

Mercedes-Benz have just announced that eight new models will be coming soon from their tuning division AMG over the next 5 years, and this picture shows them all hidden under covers just to keep us guessing.

This news was announced at the recent AMG event to celebrate the 45th anniversary of their tuning division. AMG aims to raise sales from 20,000 units to 30,000 units a year by the time AMG turns 50 years old thus branding themselves “AMG Performance 50”.

Mercedes-Benz is ready to expand the S-Class range (which also includes our amazing S63 AMG) with a brand new S-Class due next year along with a replacement for the CL-Class which we believe will be called the S-Class Coupe. Convertible and shooting brake models are expected to be upon the Mercedes-Benz family and are likely replacements of AMG’s magic.

Critics believe that we will soon see a sub-SLS AMG sports car, rumoured to be called the SLC, due to be debuted in 2014. In addition, a brand new SLS Black Series is expected to make a shock appearance in 2013, in a similar manner to how our SLS AMG did when it was debuted in 2010. An AMG version of the CLS Shooting Brake is in the pipeline too.

AMG have gained a great reputation over the years, earning their place as an amazing performance division. The question is, can you guess what the eight uncovered AMG’s will be? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
