Bentley Armoured Car Could Be A Distinguished And Distinct Possibility

The evolution of Bentley is reaching new heights with the news that Bentley is exploring the possibility of producing armoured cars.

Bentley CFO Jan-Henrik Lafrentz recently revealed to The Guardian that Bentley cars are being evaluated for the possibility of manufacturing armoured versions of their super-luxury passenger vehicles.

Being able to provide armoured cars direct from source at their production facility in Crewe could put Bentley ahead of its peers in this respect.  Whilst there are outfitters who will turn a car anti-ballistic in the aftermarket sector, factory-fitted armouring could add a competitive advantage to the beautiful Bentley models.  Rolls-Royce does not currently offer this option.

Given that Bentley crafts its cars almost completely by hand, it would appear that a seamless transition would be available by which to armour cars like the Mulsanne, a favourite of the type of clientele looking for more security in their transport.   The installation of steel panelling, Kevlar sheeting, ceramic plates, shatterproof glass and other materials could be woven into the production process as with any other bespoke needs.  Within the larger stable of marques which owns Bentley, they would also be able to find expertise.  Audi already offer such services.

Queen Elizabeth II owns an armoured Bentley, demonstrating that it can be done in sumptuous style.  There really could be a lot of worth behind the words of Bentley’s top financial voice. After all, he is certainly looking to extend Bentley’s reach into emerging markets where many of the potential customers of armoured vehicles are to be found.  Russia, the Middle East and the Americas are all big consumers of armoured vehicles.  When you add the Flying B onto such a car, it would surely be a captivating market offering.

Closer to home, our Armoured Range Rover is just what to drive for those time-to-time security needs.  Discreetly providing protection with just as privileged a ride comfort as a Bentley and with legendary road presence, the commanding Range Rover enjoys all the benefits of Level 5/Euro B6 protection standards.  Combined with chauffeur or close protection officer convenience, the car is the ultimate bodyguard.

Its first line of defence is its ability to blend in to the environment.  Looking no different to any other premium Range Rover, the armoured car adds multiple levelsof security to your drive.  Bullet-resistant transparent armour multi-layer glass, together with polycarbonate inner layers, provides a vanguard to the windows and windscreens.  Armourmax ballistic composite material cloaks the bodywork complete with overlaps and a weld-free process for security with integrity.  The floor is armoured with multi-ply rigid ballistic fragmentation material combined with Armourmax PAC100 moulded to fit.  Battery, fuel tank and exhaust system are also protected. Run-flat tyres round-off the total blanket of safety in which you will find yourself with the armoured Range Rover.  What is an amazing conclusion to this vehicle is however to learn that all of this protection is so lightweight that the performance and handling remain as unsurpassed as the original.
