Brabus give us a sneak-peak of their super powerful S Class

brabus-s63-genevaBrabus have stolen some pre-Geneva headlines by releasing details of the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Coupe.

Based on the Mercedes S63, the Brabus model is predictably mad, and is described by the German tuner themselves as “the world’s fastest and most powerful all-wheel-drive coupe.”

They’re not kidding about the power, either: they’ve bored out the twin-turbo V8 to 5.9 litres and added bigger turbochargers, a new intake module, a custom crankshaft, carbon fibre air ducts and a gold heat-reflection sheathing on the intake and charge pipes.

The original S63 has 577BHP, whereas this Brabus version produces a whopping 838BHP and 848 ft-lb of torque.

All this power has a dramatic effect: the car can do 0-62MPH in just 3.5 seconds, and has a supercar-worthy top speed of 217MPH. Visitors to Geneva are able to gaze inside and see the 250MPH speedometer, as well as other features in the car’s modified interior.

Clad in black Mastik leather that’s accentuated by copper-coloured piping, the car features carbon fibre trim, Shadow Gold accents, aluminium-enhanced pedals and a black Alcantara headliner.

The exterior is just as impressive: the carbon fibre body kit they offer comes with a custom rear diffuser and spoiler, carbon fibre enhancements to side air outlets and an all-new front bumper.

The car is being displayed with Platinum Edition 21-inch cross-spoke alloys finished in Shadow Gold Chrome at Geneva, which are paired with a 15mm drop in the car’s suspension.
