Interview with our Accounts Administrator Tina Taseva

1. How long have you been with Signature, and what is your position?
I work as accounts administrator and have been with Signature since August this year.

2. What did you do before?
I have been in Accounting for 6 years but before that I was managing a small Deli in South London.

3. What does your job entail?
My job is quite versatile but it mainly involves day to day accounts, liaising with customers and suppliers, credit control etc.

4. What makes a great account administrator?
In my opinion you have to have a great attention to detail, to be able to work on own initiative and last but not least to enjoy what you do.

5. Why is it important to have an efficient accounts team in a modern business?  Accounting and finance lie at the heart of the business. Good accounting and financial management helps keep the business under control. It also provides the owners with the information and confidence to make decisions and take opportunities to help the business grow. No wonder the accounting is often called “the language of business”.

6. What do you enjoy about working for Signature?
It must be the fact that no two days are the same. It has been a great learning experience and I know there is more to come so I am looking forward to it!

7. Are you interested in cars?
As a person who drives regularly I would say yes, but I must admit that my interest in cars has definitely increased after I joined Signature.

8. What is your favourite car from the current Signature fleet?
Do I need to choose one? I like them all but if I have to pick one it would be the Aston Martin DB9 Volante (pictures below). I do have a secret crush on the Range Rover Evoque though.

9. Where would you drive if it was yours for a weekend and who would be seated next to you?
I would drive to the South of France with friends.

10. What’s your favourite film?
It has got to be Heat.

11. What do you do in your spare time?
I like travelling but haven’t had the chance to do a lot of it recently. I like reading also. My latest passion is baking.

12. Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
10 years is a long time but I will probably still be in Accounting.

13. What are 3 things you couldn’t live without?
A book, a phone and a car.

14. Who inspired you as a child?
I would say my parents.

15. What did you want to be when you grew up? And if you weren’t an accountant, what would you be?
I was quite indecisive as to what I should do but as the time passed  I realised that I am best at what I do at the moment. If I wasn’t an accountant I would be doing a job that gives me the chance to travel all over the world.
