Limited Production Starts on the Lamborghini Elemento

Promises are being turned into reality as a set of new pictures shows off the limited Lambo Elemento on the production line. The car is said to be developed in house at Sant’Agata Bolognese, where Signature Boss Dee was recently invited. Officially called the Sesto Elemento, it looks like it is going to be an exciting car when it is finally released.

The innovation in the Elemento is chiefly coming from the carbon reinforced polymer that will be part of the car. The polymer is being developed by Lamborghini which again highlights the company’s focus to raise the bar in performance cars. The carbon polymer will shave extra weight off the body of the Lamborghini. The body of the Elemento is guaranteed to make driving as light as a feather from acceleration.

The Sesto Elemento will stand in line with other super cars from the stable such as the supremely popular Aventador and the Urus SUV concept. While the Aventador is aimed towards pure performance car drivers, the Sesto Elemento is geared towards fans of the marque who want an exclusive car that not many people have. The origins of the Sesto Elemento started around two years ago when it was unveiled as a concept car. The new pictures from Lamborghini of the car on the production line show off aggressive lines and sharp engineering.

The performance numbers of the Elemento look impressive already. The car will have a 5.2 litre V10 engine. This will power it to go from 0 – 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Fans of the Gallardo will enjoy the acceleration time of the Elemento. The fun doesn’t stop there:  the horsepower of the car is around 562.

The price tag will hover around €1.5m. There will be around 20 units of the Sesto Elemento that will be produced on five dedicated work stations at the Sant’Agata prototype hub.
