Porsche 911 GT3 Caught Testing

With the new Porsche looking sublime, it is hard to imagine how it could improve.  The latest spy shots show just how this is possible.

The new Porsche 911 continues to carry the shield from Stuttgart with pride.  It wears the legendary lines of the sleek and sexy motorsport with grace and prowess.

Yet, there is something up Porsche’s sleeve with even more allure.  Recently caught on camera, without any attempts to mask the distinguished features, the Porsche 911 GT3 displays a startling amount of magnetism all of its own.  It is, after all, a car whose light you would not want to shine under a bucket.

The front features larger air intakes and front skirt, as to be expected from the GT3 range.  At the rear, a twin exhaust appears to emanate from the middle of the bumper.  The iconic Porsche ducktail and whale-tail spoiler profiles blend into one to create the enhanced rear wing.

Whilst the look may still develop before full production, it can be expected that the engineering of the GT3 is quite well advanced.  On top of the 350 bhp of the 3.4 litre straight-six engine couched in the standard 911, and the 435 bhp of the previous GT3, it is possible to look forward to an improvement in capacity. With matching enhancements in suspension and braking, the overall package will be something well worth waiting for.

However, 2014 is a long time away, so we recommend you experience our Porsche 911 Carrera S so you can get an insight of what the GT3 would feel like! We also have the Porsche Boxster S featured here in our Experience Centre –
