The 5 Best Final Edition Cars

When it is time to say goodbye to an old era and open the gates to a new one, sometimes car manufacturers look to final edition supercars. These perform a variety of roles such as building brand identity and strengthening relationships with loyal customers, as well as remaining competitive in the automotive industry.

1. The BA3 Final Edition
This was the car that marked the end of the G-Class generation. Mercedes-Benz offered it as a G500 or a G350 model. With a 5.5 litre V8 engine, the car is able to reach 388 horsepower. The car also had AMG wheel arches that are accentuated with 5 twin spoke alloys that are 18 inches. The car is also crowned with a stainless steel 3D star that is iconic as it is the symbol of the Mercedes-Benz. The interior is luxurious thanks to the walnut wood trim and black leather.

2. The Lotus Matte Black Exige
This final edition from Lotus shows off its allegiance to the colour black. In a matte finish, only 25 editions of this car went into production. This highlights the ultra exclusivity of the range. It was also limited only to North America and it features Alcantara seats and tinted taillights.

3. Wiesmann Final Edition MF3 Roadster
This roadster was shown at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and this car has been made 18 times, which points to how exclusive it is. It is available in a rainbow finish of colours with blue, white and black colour accents. The interior is coloured in blue which shows off its stylish look and spirit.

4. Tesla Roadster Final Edition
2014 will mark the end of the Lotus based Roadster. To celebrate this great run, Tesla has made a Final Edition model of which there are only 15. This car will be able to go from 0 – 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and it also has anthracite aluminium alloys to add a sharp finish to the supercar.

5. Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1
This Ferrari special edition will come with an option of colours such as the red shade we are accustomed to and neutral pastel shades. The upholstery is in black Alcantara leather which is complemented by 20 inch diamond forged alloy wheels.

This year’s Geneva Motor Show is going to be an exciting event when these 5 special editions cars are unveiled to the industry.
