Whenever car spy shots surface on the internet, it’s always about whether the quality of the images are good. These new Mercedes spy shots show off a stunning new model in high quality. Seen at a photo shoot for the Mercedes C-Class, these pictures show the changes and features that make Mercedes the popular marque that it is.
The S-Class was the inspiration for the design rich C-Class and we think that this was an excellent starting point for the C-Class.
Technology & Performance
It’s likely that the transmission of the C-Class will be an 8-speed or 9-speed automatic. Experts think the engine might be a 1.8 litre console that will be part of at least one of the models. There will also be diesel and hybrid options, with the latter probably including a 4 cylinder petrol powerhouse engine. The high performance AMG addition should have a twin turbocharged V8 that is said to come with 4 litre fuel capacity.
There is also vehicle surrounding monitoring which is perfect to deal with other motorists near the cars. The advanced braking system has been given a make-over to make the car safer to use with quicker response times.
Interior
The C-Class has taken attention to detail to a new level. The new model even has a perfume dispenser in the interior for drivers and passengers. The cockpit is draped in glossy black leather upholstery with plenty of instrumental dials close to the steering wheel for the driver to control.
Exterior
As the images indicate, silver seems to be a colour coming back on trend for executive saloons. The body of the new model looks strong yet full of aerodynamic lines that have made Mercedes the go-to marque for supercar enthusiasts. The iconic Benz tristar is meshed into the grille of the C-Class which is part of Mercedes’s reimagining of the star. The silhouette of the C-Class continues the inspiration from the S-Class but with a firmer, solid frame.
The price points for the C-Class will vary from model to model but it looks like a return to form for Mercedes in mixing performance and precision in a wide range of cutting edge cars.
