You’re probably familiar with the new Audi R8 V10 already. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, it’s the next logical step in Audi’s plan to conquer the luxury supercar market. Featuring the 5.2 litre ‘V10 Plus’ engine producing 602BHP (also found on the Lamborghini Huracan), it can go from 0-62MPH in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 200MPH.
The body is made from carbon fibre reinforced plastics, making it 40% stiffer than the previous model, and 50kg lighter too. Add in the digital ‘virtual cockpit’, double wishbone suspension and electromechanical steering and you have something pretty special. In fact, it’s the most powerful and fastest production Audi of all time.
So far, so impressive, but that’s not where the story ends. Now, Audi Exclusive, the customising arm of the German manufacturer, have added an extra dose of opulence to what was already a pretty super supercar. On the exterior, they’ve added a Carbon Gloss engine cover, spectacular Santorini Blue paint and ten-spoke forged aluminium wheels with a Y-design.
Inside, Audi Exclusive have added a full Havana Brown leather package, combined with diamond quilting on the seats and an Alcantara roof with black contrast stitching. All other elements feature Piano Black finish. This magnificent car is on display at Audi Forum Neckarsulm, the heart of Audi in Germany, and is even wowing critics all over the world.
