Bentley and Breitling take their Partnership to New Heights

Two of the world’s most famous luxury brands, Bentley and Breitling, have been in a successful partnership for 12 years, a period which has seen the creation of some beautiful timepieces. Now, however, they have excelled themselves in an effort to create a joint tribute to the Breitling Jet team, the world’s largest professional civilian flight team performing on jets.

To celebrate the team, Bentley is building seven customised Continental GTs – one for each of the team’s jets. Not only is the range extremely limited edition, but each car is unique, each taking inspiration from an individual plane in Breitling’s fleet. All seven have already been spoken for, and will be presented to their owners in Seattle at the Boeing Seafair Airshow on 1 and 2 August. To make the experience truly special, the new owners will fly in the aircraft upon which their car is based, flying in formation with the team and other owners.

The exterior, for example, has highlights that match the exact Pantone of Breitling’s yellow, alongside a striking duo-tone split of Hallmark and Onyx colours.

The yellow theme is continued inside, with the hide and thread on the seating matching the iconic colour. The seats are further embellished by a series of logos and graphics on the headrest, which highlight the jet that inspired the car. The seven planes are also depicted in an image on the dashboard’s carbon fibre fascia, with the car’s own jet marked out in Breitling yellow.

All in all, it’s a stunning tribute, and a sign that the partnership will go from strength to strength in years to come. These Continental GTs may not be flying cars in the truest sense, but they’re certainly soaring high in the style stakes.
