Italian Style Comes to the Far East

Shining_elements_6Lamborghini has recently taken part in an innovative exhibition entitled ‘Shining Elements’. Debuted in Hong Kong, the photographic exhibition and short film highlight ‘sustainable luxury’, a concept centred around high-end brands who subscribe to the Carbon Free protocol – something promoted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

The exhibition celebrates luxury brands who make a strong statement of their ethical and social concerns, and strive to ensure they do no harm to the planet whilst creating their beautiful products. As an exhibition of Italian goods created and hosted in the Far East, it also reflects on the links between the West’s aesthetic culture and the Eastern ideals of perfection.

The brainchild of Circle Luxury Magazine, the exhibition presents the story of brands that embody the fabled qualities of Italian luxury and craftsmanship: including Automobili Lamborghini, and Salvatore Ferragamo. The photography was shot by Fabrizio Scarpa, aka  Jay Schoen, and the short film was directed by Daniele Scarpa.

Shining_elements_2Having been shown in Hong Kong, the exhibition is now on display in the Cathay Pacific VIP Lounges of Hong Kong International Airport until August. After this time it will gain similar prominence in the VIP lounges in Shanghai in September, before being transferred to its final destination: Seoul.

With Hong Kong as a backdrop, the Italian-made products certainly shine, and the Lamborghini models are shown off to their utter best. If you’re travelling through one of the hosting airports in the next few months, make sure you catch this fabulous exhibition.
