Dee Visits Harley Davidson Showroom

Still in the party mood from last week, Director Dee and Fleet Purchasing Manager Ranj attended Warr’s Harley Davidson Showroom on the Kings Road last night for an evening of biking heaven hosted by Lloyds. Chris Salter from Lloyds kindly invited Dee and Ranj to the evenings event to listen to presentations about global markets and economics, which was introduced by Ashish Misra and presented by Stephen Mann. Warr’s London is Europe’s oldest Harley-Davidson dealership, has been established since 1924 and is proud to boast the biggest and best selection of new and pre-owned Harley Davidsons and made a perfect venue for the occassion.

The event allowed visitors to view the stunning collection of bikes on show, which included a selection of bikes from famous people, including Drogba, Jensen Button alongside some custom made bikes designed and manufactured for high net worth individuals looking for a bespoke look.

Also on display were two XR type Harley-Davidsons, including the XR750TT Factory Road Racer, which has a 750cc all alloy engine, Lowboy chassis and Magneto ignition which can reach an impressive top speed of 165mph. Only 10 were produced in 1972, so this is a rare bike and well worth a visit to view. The XR1000 was built for street use by Harley-Davidson to celebrate their victory in the 1983 Battle of the Twins race in Daytona.

Dee commented that he thought the event had a “great atmosphere and impressive location” for these legendary motor bikes and agreed this showroom was well worth a visit for speed loving enthusiasts like himself.

Signature would like to express their thanks to Chris Salter, Ashish Misra and Stephen Mann for their kind invitation and John Warr and Robert Warr for their kind hospitality, especially for allowing Dee and Ranj to get up close and personal with the fleet of Harley’s on display.
