From the F50 to the Enzo, auction will bring the awe-inspiring Ferraris under the microscope for owners who are fans of Ferrari.
Seeing a group of Ferraris in action is one thing but when they go under the hammer at auction, it’s like a collection of glossy red jewels that are waiting to be owned by collectors and Ferrari enthusiasts. The Concorso d’Eleganza happens every year in Villa d’Este near celebrity haunt, Lake Como. This year, RM Auctions will be there to sell a slice of rare Ferraris which are bound to whet the appetites of Ferrari fans. The cars that are going on the block include popular models like the Enzo and the F50. Other models rounding out the auction are the F40 and 288 GTO. There will also be a 550 Barchetta Pininfarina and the 599XX car for the track. The details about the pre-sale estimates are murky for now as RM Auctions haven’t gone into detail yet. When they do go on sale on the 25 May 2013, they will probably live up to the auctioneers expectations as well as what the Ferrari community at large expects.
