In this Third Edition of Inside-Line we interview Signature Wedding Specialist Krissy Matharu.
Krissy joined Signature in July 2011 and is heading up the company’s expansion into Wedding Car services.
Inside Line: “Hi Krissy, and welcome to Inside the Line! So, tell us why you chose to specialise in helping couples get the right car for their big day?
Krissy: I have always loved planning events, so when the opportunity rose to help plan the perfect car hire for such a special occasion, I was over the moon!
What makes the Signature Wedding service so attractive?
Krissy: All my clients say they are overwhelmed with the level of service/detail, and of course the beautifully presented cars they receive from Signature.
If you had your wedding day again (don’t worry, we won’t tell your husband!) what Wedding Car would you want to arrive in and why?
Krissy: That’s a hard one… I would have to say the Aston Martin Virage Volante, it is my favourite! It is such a beautiful car and unique to Signature, so would definitely stand out in the crowd!
And what car would you treat your groom to?
Krissy: Probably a Lambo!
What is your typical day at Signature like?
Krissy: FUN!

Krissy: Hearing my clients tell me how pleased they were with their hire.
What’s the most unusual request you have had from a couple planning their wedding?
Krissy: I would rather not say!
Do you have any new and exciting plans for 2013 Signature Wedding Service?
Krissy: I am always looking at new opportunities to expand the wedding side of the business so I do have a few ideas tucked up my sleeve.
What do you want for Valentine’s Day? Is your husband romantic?
Krissy: Holiday to Hawaii! My husband is a little romantic when he wants to be but doesn’t believe in Valentines! However I must admit he does spoil me all year round.
What’s your favourite film?
Krissy: Save the Last Dance.
What is your most treasured possession?
Krissy: Hair straighteners!!!
Is Dee a demanding boss?
Krissy: Demanding at times… BUT at the same time the team are also very demanding and Dee is very supportive of fulfilling these for us!
If you weren’t doing this job, what would you be up to right now?
Krissy: Sitting on a beach sipping a cocktail no doubt!
What do you like doing in your spare time?
Krissy: Shopping… which girl doesn’t?!
If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be, and what would say to them?
Krissy: Marilyn Monroe – I would ask her if the rumours were true about her eating whatever she wanted and keeping the perfect figure!
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Krissy: Invisibility – So I can see what was going on everywhere as I do like to keep in the know!
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
Krissy: I am assuming this island has plug sockets and internet! So, my straighteners, iPAD and plenty of Chocolate!
What motivates you, what are your goals?
Krissy: CAKE!
Who is your inspiration?
Krissy: My Mum! She always knows how to make everything right!
