A feast for the eyes awaits online. With temperatures outside plummeting, the best place to be right now is indoors. Luckily there is some great entertainment to be found in the latest video clip from Mercedes Benz. We are privileged to get a behind-the-scenes look at a photo shoot for their sporty Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Coupe.
In the making of this publicity event, we see more than just one star however. Obviously the Coupe shines the brightest. Supporting cast members also make quite an impression nevertheless. An immaculate white Ducati 848 motorbike dances with the car on the tarmac in a tango of ice-white metal. For human interest however, a woman models the riding of said motorbike, in true motoring calendar pin-up style. A more contemporary feel is added though as there is even something for female viewers. Mercedes-Benz seems to recognise the importance of their female followers with lingering shots as well of both the driver of the car and the photographer.
The high definition video is three and a half minutes of pure zen. Slick moves, mood music, angular perspectives, and an industrial setting all make up a fascinating feature.
The sporty Mercedes Benz shows off its striking silhouette. The arctic bodywork is strictly contrasted against the ashen skies and airport runway as it foxtrots with the passionate red and white Ducati. Whilst the exterior of the car is obviously what’s on display, we are privy to great interior shots as well. Soft hide and varnished wood underscore the luxury of this car. Its sports-like status is however highlighted with the snatches of suede, polished stainless steel and electric orange fabrics.
The photographer is himself the focus of the camera, as he subtly contrasts all of the elements at his disposal. The driver also receives some special attention.
As a plane lands in the background, the power of the Mercedes Benz is emphasised. As the photographer’s helicopter hovers overhead to capture the beauty of the car, the agility of the coupe is fully liberated.
Both angular and curvaceous, the C63 AMG Saloon has its appeal mirrored by the Ducati rider. Sculpted in leather herself, she is a perfect complement to the feline coupe.
