More Hybrids in the Pipeline for Porsche

German car maker Porsche is continuing its experiment with hybrid cars and recently announced that it will be releasing hybrid versions of the Cayman, Boxster and the 911. Hybrid sports cars are now becoming something that we are all getting used to even though a few years ago, it would have been unheard of. Porsche wants to reveal petrol-electric versions of its stable of cars.

The reason to make hybrid versions of the Cayman, 911 and the Boxster is to even out what Porsche is offering with its car models. There are already hybrid models of the Panamera and the Cayenne so the decision to make the other models hybrids does not come as a surprise to industry aficionados.
Porsche is reportedly going to make a new module that will be better suited to the two-door models. This new hybrid system should include a brand new battery pack, cooling system and of course, an electric motor.

Ultimately, the new hybrid versions for Porsche’s 3 star cars will be popular when they are released. More buyers are moving towards high performance hybrid cars in a bid to present more exclusive and stronger performance cars to Porsche customers.
