Porsche Displays 911 GT3 in Geneva

Every car marque knows the importance of showing at the annual Geneva Motor Show. Porsche is no different and this year, the German based car marque went to Geneva to present the 911 GT3, which is the fifth generation of this car model. The Stuttgart car marque has a lot to show when it comes to the 911 GT3. This car has a naturally aspirated 3.8 litre engine and it also has a seven speed dual clutch transmission. Porsche opted out of having a manual but this hasn’t impacted on the sporty personality of the car.

As the reveal at Geneva showed, the Porsche also has 20 inch alloys that support this car to go from 0 – 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. Top speed has been measured at 196 mph. Colours so far include red and white which again prove its athletic credentials. The marque tested the car at Nurburgring and it reportedly finished a lap in a shade below 7 seconds. The horsepower of the car is 475 horsepower, just another example of how Porsche is pushing boundaries in performance. This impressive feat shapes the 911 GT3 as a top contender for the eagle-eyed sports car buyers who are looking for something different to drive.
