Originally intended for the Middle Eastern market alone, the Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf is now going to be sold in the UK market thanks to unceasing demand from customers.
Before you get too excited, however, be aware that only 200 models will be made, so prospective buyers will need to be quick! There are lots of reasons to suggest it’s an attractive purchase: the Lagonda Taraf has a 5.9 litre V12 engine producing 550BHP and giving it a top speed of 200MpH.
Moreover, each of these four door super saloons comes with bespoke personalisation from Aston’s ‘Q’ division, and each car is made by hand.
The car, naturally, calls to mind the William Towns Lagondas of the 1970s and 80s, but combines it with a nod to the modern in such a stylish mix that Aston. Martin’s head of design has called it “automotive art”. The interior is predictably luxurious, and of course as it’s tailored to your expectations it can’t fail to meet them.
The price is as yet unspecified, but eagle eyed car enthusiasts did spot Aston Martin’s main dealer, HR Owen, briefly advertising the car at £696,000. Yes, you did read that correctly. That price has now been withdrawn and we await the re-advertising of the car with interest – whatever the price we’re sure all 200 won’t be available for long!
