The original 911

The details of the first 911, which came on the scene in 1963, had a 4 speed transmission with a 2.0 litre engine. This engine had the ability to reach 130 horsepower. The exterior of the car was equally as tantalising with impressive body that was sleek and compact.

The new 911

The 3.4 litre engine of the new 911 works in tandem with a seven speed transmission for sharp driving experiences. This shows how Porsche is improving its sports car driving selection for discerning drivers.
Porsche has arranged celebrations to mark the 50 years of this unique car. These include a world tour from a 1967 Porsche 911. There will also be exhibits at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.
