Ferrari Testarossa Tribute

Any fans of Miami Vice will remember the iconic Ferrari Testarossa. Retired in 1991, this car has encapsulated the spirit of what it meant to drive a sports car in the 1980s. Featuring a rear mid mounted engine, the Testarossa also had a five speed manual transmission.

The Ferrari Testarossa was the Lamborghini’s Countach rival with around 10,000 models being manufactured. The sides of the Testarossa feature sharp lines at each side which look like they were cut by a razor’s edge. This is just the beginning when it comes to understanding the beauty of the Testarossa: the car had a sleek 4.9 litre engine that was powered by a dry sump system.

A tribute video has surfaced of what makes the Testarossa such an important car not only for Ferrari enthusiasts but for anyone who has an appreciation of supercars. Watching the video makes you understand that the Testarossa was a car that captured the spirit and experience of what it meant to be at steering wheel of a Ferrari.
