Following the unveiling of the brand new Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG, the brand have maintained their streak of exciting developments and confirmed that a power horse in the name of the Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG will also join their range.
Continuing the additions under the “43” model umbrella, the new E43 AMG model was given the wink by Tobias Moers at the Geneva Motor Show 2016, where he also let the concept of a GLC43 AMG slip. Much to our delight, he elaborated with the glorious revelation: “These cars are close, we will see them in something like two months’ time.” Well, time cannot move quickly enough – yet another AMG model is an exhilarating drive to look forward to!
The E43 AMG will use the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, nine-speed automatic gearbox and 4Matic four-wheel drive system as the Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG, which produces an exquisite 362 BHP and 0-62 MPH speed of less than 5 seconds in the E43 AMG’s younger sibling.
We can only assume that the new E43 AMG will be granted a power upgrade in order to counteract the extra weight of the E-Class based 
model, in order to produce the promising figures indicated by Tobias Moers; he threw down some fighting talk at Geneva, stating that the E43 AMG will boast an astonishing 600 BHP in its E-Class flagship model. What a car this will be…
Scheduled to be released later this year, the Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG is the second so far in Mercedes-Benz new line up of 43 models, replacing the AMG Sport models of the past.
