This is essentially the company’s 50th anniversary present to the fans who love the marque so much. For now, it’s just a concept car but as you can see from these fantastic pictures, the Egoista is on the aggressive side of performance cars.
Egoista is Italian for ‘selfish’ and you can definitely see this theme throughout the whole car as seen by the single seat in the cabin. It’s clear that the Egoista is just for drivers who want to be the centre of attention inside the car and outside of it too. The Egoista looks like it could be the edgy brother of the Veneno as seen from the tough exterior of the Egoista.
From the exterior, you can see the futuristic look of the body as seen from the car’s front lights and the bonnet which stands out like something that you would see in a superhero film. The body was constructed from carbon fibre and aluminium for extra aerodynamic strength. The company said that the cabin was inspired by an Apache attack helicopter as seen by the 4-point racing harness, for example. To show the company’s commitment to innovation, the driver of this car even has to remove the steering wheel to get out of the car in the same way a Formula 1 driver does.
The engine is just as aggressive as the styling as seen from the 5.2 litre V10 engine which has a capacity of 600 horsepower. This is definitely something that Lamborghini’s founder, Ferrucio Lamborghini, would be proud of – the Egoista puts the driver first in a spectacular way that passionate performance car enthusiasts would approve of.
